Government bars bulk fuel buying at petrol pumps

The Hindu reported that the government barred industrial, commercial and institutional consumers from buying petrol and diesel at retail outlets. Such users must source fuel from dedicated bulk sale channels, and pumps cannot dispense more than 200 litres of diesel per day to a consumer or vehicle.
