Private firms seek green status for nuclear funding

Private players asked NITI Aayog to treat nuclear power as green energy so projects can access green bonds, loans and blended finance. Member Abhay Karandikar said industry urged reviews of Finance Ministry, RBI and SEBI green frameworks. Invest India chief Nivruti Rai said India needs at least 228 billion dollars to reach 100 GWe by 2047.
