Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay launched the Dream Olympics initiative in Chennai on October 9. He felicitated athletes from the 20th Asian Games 2026 and 46th Chess Olympiad 2026 at The Leela Palace. SDAT presented cash incentives. Wicketkeeper G Kamalini, gold medallist with India's women's cricket team, said Vijay told athletes: "We are there for you."
