Harish Rawat quits Congress posts after ED raid

Former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat resigned on Saturday from two Congress posts. He left the Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee executive and his permanent invitee role on the CWC. The ED said it seized Rs 32 lakh, about 200.5 gm of gold and 12 luxury watches from PA Chandan Singh Jeena. The searches linked to the 2016 VPDO exam case.
