Andhra approves Rs 730.7 crore Quantum AI campus

Andhra Pradesh approved a Rs 730.7 crore NIELIT campus in Amaravati as India's first dedicated university site for quantum technologies and artificial intelligence. The 8.5-acre campus is funded by a MeitY grant. Classes are due from September 2026 at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur before moving to Amaravati. The project aims to train about 8,250 learners over five years.
