British Indian minister joins UK Cabinet

New U.K. Prime Minister Andy Burnham promoted British-Indian AI minister Kanishka Narayan to the Cabinet on July 23 after taking charge on July 20. Narayan, Bihar-born MP for Vale of Glamorgan, will jointly serve the Cabinet Office and the business department. Burnham also removed several Keir Starmer allies including former deputy PM David Lammy.
