HCLTech opens Rs 185 crore semiconductor lab in Bengaluru

HCLTech on Tuesday launched an advanced semiconductor lab in Bengaluru investing Rs 185 crore. The 40,000 sq ft facility includes 25,000 sq ft of Class 10K and 1K cleanrooms for post-silicon engineering, testing and failure analysis. Tools come from Teradyne, Advantest, Keysight, Tektronix and Thermo Fisher. The move follows India's Semicon 2.0 programme of Rs 1.27 lakh crore.
