The Hindu reported June 29 Adhikari told Assembly BJP promised UCC within six months of taking power. Retired Supreme Court judge Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai will lead committee studying family laws and live-in relationships submitting report in four weeks. Tribal communities excluded.
