Jammu and Kashmir MLAs say valley got 18% officer posts

JKPC chief Sajad Lone and PDP MLA Muntazir Mehdi on September 16 said Kashmir officers got 18 percent representation in a senior list. Lone said against 56 percent population share, Kashmir received 18 percent of posts. Omar Abdullah on September 15 appointed 55 combined examination candidates, including 28 junior scale officers. Mehdi said he would raise fairness in the Assembly.
