Sawan Barwal wins Asian Games marathon silver

Sawan Barwal won silver in the Asian Games men's marathon in Nagoya, ending India's 44-year wait for a medal in the event. The 28-year-old clocked 2:11:37 and lowered his own national record. Japan's Ichitaka Yamashita took gold in 2:10:49. China's Peiyou Feng took bronze. It is India's first Asian Games marathon medal won outside home soil.
