Supreme Court stays High Court assets probe reports

The Supreme Court on 17 August told the Allahabad High Court to defer a petition alleging disproportionate assets against Rahul Gandhi. Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V. Mohana barred the CBI, ED and other authorities from filing any report under the 20 July order. The High Court had listed the matter for 20 August.
