The Petroleum Ministry on Monday directed Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum to apply a uniform 25-day LPG refill booking interval for urban and rural domestic consumers immediately. Rural buyers had faced a 45-day gap since February 2026 demand measures tied to the West Asia conflict. Minister of State Suresh Gopi said supply had eased.
