LSR suspends classes after encounter near college gate

Lady Shri Ram College suspended classes from noon on September 22 after police shot accused Asif about 50 metres from its back gate. Police said Asif fired three rounds; one hit a head constable's jacket. Officers fired twice, wounding his right leg. Classes were also suspended September 23 after the September 21 Astha Kunj Park assault on a 17-year-old.
