Putin begins 3-day India visit for 18th BRICS summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin began a three-day visit to India on Friday for the 18th BRICS Summit and talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India hosts the two-day summit from Saturday on food, energy, health and supply chains. It is his first in-person BRICS summit outside Russia since February 2022. Bilateral talks with Modi are set for Friday afternoon.
