Palwal police book 11 after woman and infant die

A 25-year-old woman, Sagufta, and her one-and-a-half-month-old son Juhan were found dead at home in Palwal's Rajpura village on 20 August 2026. Her father Yakeen told police they saw marks on both necks. Sadar police registered a case against 11 people, including husband Sohil, 27, and village head Sahib, for murder and dowry death. Cause of death awaits post-mortem.
