Mamata Banerjee moves Supreme Court over TMC freeze

Mamata Banerjee has moved the Supreme Court against the Election Commission freeze on the All India Trinamool Congress name and symbol. On Friday the panel allotted her faction Mamata All India Trinamool Congress and a football player symbol. The Arup Roy faction received Democratic Trinamool Congress and an envelope symbol. Nandigram and Rejinagar bypolls are on October 6.
