Jharkhand minister Sudivya Kumar dies at 56

Jharkhand Higher and Technical Education and Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar died of cardiac arrest, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha said on September 6, 2026. He was 56. The Giridih MLA also held Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Sports portfolios. He was first elected in 2019. Chief Minister Hemant Soren called him like an elder brother.
