Nearly 14 lakh join Annamalai movement in 24 hours

Former Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai resigned on June 5 and launched We The Leaders, reporting nearly 14 lakh registrations within a day. BJP president Nitin Nabin accepted the resignation after weeks of speculation. Annamalai, a former IPS officer who joined the BJP in 2020, said the movement will contest the next Lok Sabha polls in Tamil Nadu.
