Delhi raises crop-loss compensation to Rs 75,000 per hectare

Delhi's Cabinet approved enhanced crop-loss compensation of Rs 75,000 per hectare for farmers affected by heavy rainfall and waterlogging during the 2025 monsoon. Nearly 10,000 farmers are expected to receive relief, with the government clearing Rs 33.32 crore for disbursal after a Revenue Department damage survey following Cabinet approval by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
