North Central Railway lists 1,053 festive special train trips

North Central Railway has announced 1,053 Trains on Demand trips for the festive season as of September 19, 2026. The specials will run from October 1 to November 30, covering 61 days for Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath travel. CPRO Shivam Sharma said the services are TODs and may expand with demand. Routes include Kolkata, Prayagraj, Kanpur Central and Delhi.
