Bihar requires state nod for CBI probes of its officials

The Bihar government ordered that the CBI must obtain state permission before investigating Bihar public servants. A September 3 Home Department notification supersedes earlier orders under the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946. The CBI needs no state nod for probes against Central Government employees. The order covers corruption and cybercrime cases involving state staff.
