India signs MoU for 200-bed West Bank hospital

On 19 August 2026, India and Palestine signed a memorandum of understanding for a 200-bed super-speciality hospital in Arrabeh, Jenin Governorate, with a trauma centre. MEA secretary Sripriya Ranganathan joined Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa at the groundbreaking. A second MoU covers a technical and vocational training centre at the Palestinian National Printing Press as well.
