Canada loans Xanadu C$195 million for quantum plant

Canada will loan C$195 million to Xanadu Quantum for a photonic components plant in Toronto, its largest quantum support to date. The federal loan covers half of up to C$390 million announced in March. CEO Christian Weedbrook said repayments will be a percentage of revenue and up to 275 jobs are expected. Xanadu listed on Nasdaq in March.
