Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson resigned after his right-wing bloc lost a narrow general election on Sunday. Preliminary results showed opposition parties led by Magdalena Andersson set for 176 seats in the 349-seat Riksdag, against 173 for the right-wing bloc. About 50,000 votes separated the two blocs in a country of about 10 million people, BBC reported.
