The Hindu reported June 30 Switzerland based Mediterranean Shipping Company world's largest container line will invest through terminal arm TiL for stake in Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited. Deal billed as largest foreign private investment in Indian port infrastructure. Transaction needs regulatory approvals. Vizhinjam crossed 2 million TEUs within 18 months of December 2024 commissioning.
