Cabinet clears Rs 10,000 crore ATF price stabilisation fund

The Union Cabinet approved up to Rs 10,000 crore in one-time budgetary support for oil marketing companies to stabilise aviation turbine fuel prices, Economic Times reported. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw cited sharp ATF rises linked to the West Asia conflict. International ATF prices rose from about Rs 60.5 per litre in March to Rs 142 in May.
