School bus crash near Ambur injures 4 students, driver

Four students and a driver were injured when a school bus hit a container lorry near Ambur on NH 48 on Saturday. Police said the crash occurred around 8 a.m. at Vadaputhupatti in Tirupattur. The injured are stable at the Government Taluk Hospital in Ambur. Lorry driver K. Shyam Sundar Misra was arrested. Traffic was affected for nearly two hours.
