Ex-TMC MLA arrested over RG Kar cremation

Former Trinamool Congress MLA Nirmal Ghosh was arrested on August 13 at a hotel near Puri, Odisha, in a fresh case over the hurried cremation of the RG Kar junior doctor. Barrackpore Police said they traced him after the FIR was filed. He is to be produced in Odisha and then brought to a Barrackpore court on transit remand.
