Congress CWC sets four-issue nationwide campaign

The Congress Working Committee met for four hours on 19 August 2026 at Indira Bhawan and named four campaign fronts: paper leaks, alleged Ram temple donation theft, Chinese incursion reports in Arunachal Pradesh, and delimitation. KC Venugopal said Chhatron Ki Goonj would go to nearly 800 cities. Pradesh units were told to take the donation issue to panchayat level.

- Jairam Ramesh separately asked the Prime Minister to apologise over an alleged shudhikaran episode in Uttarakhand after Kharge's programme there.
