Karnataka minister B Nagendra resigns over Valmiki fund case

Congress leader B Nagendra resigned from the Karnataka Cabinet on Friday over alleged irregularities at the Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. He said he was stepping down voluntarily to avoid embarrassment to the party. The allegations concern about Rs 89 crore moved from corporation accounts. Nagendra quit once before in June 2024 and returned on August 3.
