The Centre terminated forty seven National Testing Agency officials on July 24 as part of an exam reform overhaul after NEET protests. The Union Cabinet cleared amendments to the 2024 anti cheating law with steeper jail terms up to ten years and fines reaching ten crore rupees for organised fraud.
