BCI directs law colleges to obtain social media conduct undertakings

The Bar Council of India on July 17 directed law colleges to obtain written undertakings from every student before admission and before each internship pledging compliance with social media ethics rules. The circular prohibits recording chamber discussions, court proceedings, client conferences and internship reveal style content. Colleges must conduct orientation sessions and appoint nodal officers for implementation.
