Ex-Badrinath temple officer arrested in donation theft case

On July 17, a SIT arrested former Badrinath temple officer Rajendra Chauhan after four hours of questioning. CCTV footage shows him pocketing cash bundles on June 22, 25 and 29. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee submitted an 18-page report. CEO Sohan Singh Rangad was also questioned. Investigators identified additional suspects from June 25 and 29 footage.
