UNICEF warns 2.95 million children at risk as Ebola cases hit 1,000 in eastern DR Congo

UNICEF said on June 22 that children account for about 15 percent of confirmed cases and over 25 percent of deaths in Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu as 135 orphaned children receive psychosocial care after losing parents to the outbreak.
