Macquarie puts $450 million into Maple InVIT

Macquarie Asset Management invested about $450 million in Maple Infrastructure Trust, including $150 million for future acquisitions, the firms said Monday. Seller La Caisse also infused about $150 million for growth. After the September 11 deal, MAM and La Caisse will jointly own controlling stakes in the InVIT’s managers. Maple operates seven toll roads across six Indian states.
