Meta's Sandhya Devanathan exits to join OpenAI role

Sandhya Devanathan, Meta vice president and head of India and South East Asia, will leave after more than 10 years to join OpenAI. She will be vice president for Southeast Asia and Australia, based in Singapore, reporting to Kiran Mani. She joined Meta in 2016. Nifty IT rose more than 3 percent Friday in the same Economic Times package.
