Expelled Trinamool MLA claims 59 supporters

Expelled Trinamool MLA Ritabrata Banerjee reached the West Bengal Assembly claiming support from 59 MLAs for the Leader of Opposition post, NDTV reported. He is challenging Mamata Banerjee's nominee Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay. Trinamool has 80 MLAs in the 294-member House after Suvendu Adhikari's BJP won power with 207 seats during a sensitive leadership fight now publicly.
