Jharkhand lists 44 recruitment exams cancelled over irregularities

The Jharkhand government on the night of 18 August 2026 issued eight notifications listing 44 recruitment exams cancelled over irregularities. The tests were run by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and by outsourced firm TSR Data Processing since 2014. Posts include drug inspectors, assistant professors, deputy collectors, civil judges and forest range officers. Student protests have continued in Ranchi.
