Jan Suraj leaders join BJP ahead of Bankipur bypoll

Several Jan Suraj Party leaders including mathematician KC Sinha, Ritesh Ranjan, Gopal Singh and Braj Kishore Sinha joined the BJP in Patna on July 16. BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi inducted them ahead of the July 30 Bankipur bypoll where Prashant Kishor faces BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Many defectors had contested the Bihar Assembly elections on Jan Suraj tickets.
