TN government renames DMK free bus travel scheme for women

Tamil Nadu's ruling TVK government has renamed the DMK free bus travel scheme for women from Magalir Vidiyal Payanam to Magalir Payanam, Deccan Chronicle reported. The free travel benefit for women riders remains unchanged under the new scheme name. DMK leader Thangam Thennarasu said renaming does not change history and called the move politically motivated.
